What's in the library

A guided tour of the reference content.

The resources hub holds the technical content that buyers ask us for repeatedly. Most of it isn't competitive intelligence — it's the basics that the industry has historically gatekept for no good reason.

The chemical compatibility table. Forty-plus chemistries against HDPE, composite, and stainless. Cross-references temperature notes. Most buyers spend an hour or two pulling this together from supplier datasheets — we put it in one place.

The cleaning guide. Three protocols (triple-rinse, caustic wash, sanitary prep), when each applies, what's required to do them safely. Useful if you have an in-house wash bay; useful as background reading even if you don't.

The FAQ. Twelve of the most-asked questions we get on email, with answers that reflect actual yard practice, not marketing.

Repurposing ideas. Twenty practical projects you can build from a single retired tote. Garden, brewing, water capture, off-grid.

The articles archive. Long-form writing from our team on industry, regulation, technical reference, and case studies.

Two case studies in depth. A Michigan cidery and a Detroit auto-detailing operation — both real customers, both with the math worked out.

Key takeaways

If you only read one section.

  1. 01No email gate. Everything's directly readable. No PDF download required.
  2. 02Content is written by people who run the yard — not by an agency.
  3. 03Updated as practice evolves. Most pages have a 'last revised' note somewhere.
  4. 04Use it as background reading or as a reference desk when you're spec-ing an application.
  5. 05If something isn't here that should be, email us — we'll write it.
Common questions

Resource library questions.

Can I cite your content in our internal documentation?
Yes, with attribution — we just ask for a credit and a link back. The content reflects what we actually do; we'd rather it propagate accurately than be paraphrased into something wrong.
Will you white-label content for our buyers?
On a case-by-case basis, yes. Mostly for partner reconditioners or industry associations. Email us.
Are case studies anonymized?
We name customers when they've explicitly agreed. The Hudsonville cidery and Detroit detailing case studies are both consented and identified. Other case studies in our internal records are confidential.
How often is the content updated?
Reference content (compatibility, cleaning, FAQ) we revise annually. Articles are written as topics come up. Case studies are written when there's a customer story worth telling — typically every 6-9 months.
