Bolt-on parts

The accessories that keep your tote in service.

Most stuck jobs are stuck because of a $14 valve. We keep the boring parts in stock so you don't have to source them from three vendors.

A note on standards

S-thread vs cam-lock: the most common spec confusion.

The vast majority of IBCs ship with one of two valve standards: a Buttress S60×6 or S100×8 coarse thread, or an industrial 2" cam-lock (also called type A/B/C/D camlock or quick-connect).

If you've got an adapter mismatch — a 2" cam-lock fitting trying to land on an S60 tote outlet — we keep the bridge piece on the shelf for $9.

The fittings most jobs need

A quick guide to what's on our shelf and what it costs.

2-inch ball valve (cam-lock). The default outlet on most reconditioned 275s and 330s. Easy to operate, easy to replace. $14 retail. We carry both PP and brass-bodied options.

S60×6 buttress. The European-origin coarse thread you'll find on Schütz, Mauser, and Schoeller-pattern totes. Reliable, slightly harder to find adapters for. $18 for the valve, $9 for the cam-lock bridge adapter.

S100×8 buttress. Larger thread used on 330-gallon totes and some specialty applications. $28 for the valve. Adapter bridges to 2-inch cam-lock for $14.

EPDM gaskets in the standard sizes — 2-inch cam-lock, S60, S100. Food-grade. $4 each. Replace at every refill if your application is sensitive.

Silicone gaskets for higher-temp or hot-fill applications. $7. Worth the upgrade if your fill temperature pushes 140 °F+.

12V transfer pump for moving liquid out of a tote without a gravity feed. $129. Plumbs to 2-inch cam-lock outlet. Self-priming.

Vented breather lid for tanks that need pressure equalization during fill or transfer. $19. Common on fertilizer and ag totes.

Key takeaways

If you only read one section.

  1. 01Most 'tank failures' are fitting failures. A $14 valve fixes 90% of them.
  2. 02S60×6 ↔ cam-lock adapter is the most-asked-for fitting at our counter. Keep one on the shelf.
  3. 03Gaskets are consumables. Replace at every refill in food applications, every 4–6 refills in industrial.
  4. 04Bring your tote in and we'll match the right fitting. Walk-in fitting fits are free if you buy the part.
  5. 05We can pre-install fittings before shipping. Saves you 5 minutes per tank when the order arrives.
Common questions

Accessory questions.

How do I know which valve I need?
Send us a photo of the outlet on your existing tote. We'll tell you the thread spec and the bridge piece you need. Free service.
Do you carry food-grade fittings only?
We carry both food-grade (EPDM, silicone, food-rated brass) and industrial (NBR, Viton, standard brass) — clearly labeled. Match the gasket material to the chemistry.
Can I get fittings shipped separately from totes?
Yes — small-parcel ground for accessories. Usually 3-5 days from order. We don't charge LTL on a $9 adapter.
Do you stock pumps?
12V transfer pumps, 110V electric drum pumps, and manual rotary pumps. We don't stock high-flow industrial pumps — for those we'll refer you to a specialty distributor.
